    Ian Young is an Acquired Brain Injury Survivor,a son, a brother,an uncle,a friend, a motivational speaker, but never a victim!

    ​  He has been interviewed on many national media programs, spoken at universities, fundraisers,  organizations and hospitals often bringing a factual, witty, but inspiring story of courage in the face of adversity. He has addressed government   officials and federal decision makers,been guest columnist for newspapers, hosted radio programs and been keynote speaker at national forums.His most memorable was addressing Canada's House of Commons after travelling by train from Vancouver, Canada to Quebec, Canada raising awareness. 
      He is an avid participant in charitable organizations, a film buff, music lover, foodie, and animal lover.There is always a cause Ian can find to support, as he has been quoted as saying "As one we are a voice, as two we are a concern, as a group we become an action."
    Born in Canada's Capital Ottawa, Ontario,his travels and studies have brought him to Montreal, Quebec, London, U.K. Phoenix, AZ, and Calgary, Alberta,he presently resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
     As a board member past and present for many organizations he brings his unique perspective to the table.  
    ​Ian resides independently in a stunning innovative co operative housing building and is a huge supporter of individuals making  decisions about their life and care. 
    ​ Ian will continue working with agencies and any government on disability issues
